Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for a Toolroom Technician to Maintain all moulds on-site as per procedure to the agreed standard.

Your responsibilities as a Toolroom Technician will include:

• Prioritise breakdowns, rectify the problems and minimise downtime
• Support all production areas as required
• Carry out breakdowns and services in an effective and safe manner
• Prioritise services as per weekly schedules
• Undertake all tasks within the agreed shift pattern and cover call out as per schedule
• Ensure all work is carried out within Health and Safety legislation
• Document all work, repairs or modifications carried out on moulds on-site
• Ensure all relevant information is passed on to the oncoming shift
• Analyse previous problems from historical data, to assist in fault-finding on-site.

To be a successful candidate as a Toolroom Technician you will need:

• Must have completed an indentured apprenticeship in toolmaking / tool maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience in use of lathes, grinders, milling machines and drills.
• Ability to TIG / MIG weld is preferable.
• Polishing experience to a high standard is required.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and electrical systems on mould tools would be an advantage.
• Experience with injection moulding and injection mould tools
