Senior HR Advisor is required to join a global manufacturer of high performance, engineered solutions for the Aerospace, Commercial Transportation and Oil & Gas Industries. As a Senior HR Advisor to assist with a wide variety of HR functions across the business. This is a permanent, full time position offering an annual salary of £30,000 - £40,000 alongside benefits including, private health care and a pension scheme of up to 10% employer contribution.

As a Senior HR Advisor your duties and responsibilities will include:

 

  • Offering support to colleagues on all HR related enquiries
  • Managing the recruitment process for the business
  • Write and implement new policies
  • Keeping up to date with all new HR legislation
  • Managing employee absence both short & long term
  • Manage complex issues including performance, grievance, capability or conduct issues up to and including dismissal
  • Assist and carry out investigations

To be successful in the position of Senior HR Advisor, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • CIPD qualified to Level 5 or above
  • You should have an up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice
  • excellent customer service skills and be used to dealing with a high volume of queries, complaints and have experience of being a front facing Senior HR Advisor
  • Be a confident and approachable communicator with a customer focused attitude who is able to build strong relationships with Managers across the organisation

 

This position is based in Birmingham and is easily accessible from Solihull, Coleshill, Saltley, Sparkhill and Marston Green,
