Production Leader - Devon, Cornwall, Dorset

A Production Leader is required for a global automotive manufacturing firm in Exeter. As a Production Leader you will be responsible in assisting the running of the production lines, managing 10-12 associates.

Working hours- Mon to Thurs 07:30 to 16:45pm, 45 min break time Friday 07:30 to 14:00, 30 min break time

Salary circa £23,000 + Benefits

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintain Health & Safety at all times
• Ensure Production Lines are producing quality products
• Ensure operators are trained to complete the tasks they have been given
• Monitor Production Line and individual output ensuring they are hitting required targets
• Ensure operators are applying appropriate levels of concentration and effort at all times
• Monitor lineside stock and notify replenishment team/Supervisor if necessary
• Ensure Line is clean and tidy at all times and that operators are taking responsibility for their workstation and its tools
• Report output throughout the day to the Supervisor
• Report issues that affect production line efficiency/output/downtime and inform Supervisor
• Ensure work is being completed to procedure while encouraging continuous improvement ideas that can be presented to Supervisor/Management/Engineering
• Ensure full adherence to 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices at all times
