Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Project Lead to play a strong part in planning and delivering all Engineering activities through the new product development process and advanced technical development projects. The Engineering Project Lead will be part of a cross-functional team, planning and executing product development programs and projects from quoting through to production launch.

Your responsibilities as an Engineering Project Lead will include:

  • Creating and delivering Engineering schedules & project plans
  • Reporting on Engineering projects and completing design review checklists
  • Estimating Engineering, Design and Testing requirements for new motor configurations
  • Creating reports on status of technical activities and presenting to Engineering leadership

To be a successful candidate for the Engineering Project Lead role you will need:

  • Engineering Project Management and high-level reporting
  • Excellent time management and proven delivery of projects
  • Solid Engineering background with an understanding of Engineering standards
  • Ability to work both remotely as part of a global team and with others in an office environment
  • Ability to react to re-prioritisation of workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills using MS Office
  • Experience in electronics, power electronics and programming
  • Experience using Microsoft Project software
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (Castings, CNC machining, moulding)
  • Experience in mechanical design – SolidWorks/Siemens NX
  • Personal accountability
