A new, fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contracts and Project Manager to take responsibility for the assessment of customers’ technical requirements and facilitation of the preparation of suitable assembly costings and manufacturing instructions for all bespoke assemblies produced by the company.

As a Contracts and Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include

  • Responsible for providing technical advice to all areas of the Company
  • Recognising product technical requirements with regard to marketing and research and relating such information to others as appropriate.
  • Assessment of customer requirements/specifications for new custom-built assemblies and preparation of suitable technical proposals and associated costings.
  • Assessment of requests for modifications to existing custom-built assemblies to ensure that customer requirements can be met and compliance with any relevant standards/ regulations can be maintained.
  • Provision of suitable assembly/inspection instructions to ensure effective control of production at all stages.
  • Provision of technical support to both customers and the Field Sales team on issues relating to custom-built assemblies.

 

To be successful in the role of Contracts and Project Manager, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience (min 5 years) of managing Engineering/Design/Project teams
  • A Bachelor’s degree/HND in Electrical Engineering
  • 17/18th electrical edition qualified
  • Proven experience within building automation (BMS/HVAC)
  • Prince 2 Qualification
  • SAP experience
  • Excellent leadership skills   

This position is based in Coventry and is easily commutable from West Bromwich, Sutton Coldfield, Smethwick Rugby, Leicester, Northampton, Milton Keynes
