We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to lead all sales activities within the EMEA region, managing a team of Area Managers.

This role requires an accomplished sales professional who will have the responsibility for directing sales strategies within the European region that meet current and future market needs and achieve BU profitability and growth objectives.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Build and develop a dynamic European sales team that is proactive and analytical
  • Visit customers and develop long-term relationships to understand current and future needs
  • Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance and other to position the business for growth in the region
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Play a key role in annual and long-term strategic planning with growth initiatives by identifying potential new markets and customers

Required experience to succeed in this role:

  • At least 5 years of sales management experience and travel within the EMEA region is essential 
  • Previous experience within the automotive industry
  • Engineering degree would be an advantage
  • Multi-national business background with a firm grasp of financial measurements is a must.  
  • Strong knowledge of pricing, margins, discounts and overhead/cost structures
  • European language skills
