An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical / Mechanical Technician to join an established company specialising in X-ray machinery used in mass production applications. A successful candidate will be responsible for machine build, wiring, assembly and test whilst providing customer support. This is a permanent full time position working Monday-Friday 08:30am – 17:30pm and will receive an annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000 with an attractive company benefits package including annual bonuses.


As an Electrical / Mechanical Technician, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • React to break-downs and quality issues using diagnostic skills to identify and rectify problems quickly and effectively
  • Hold responsibility for machine building, testing, electrical panel wiring, and assembly of all products
  • Offering technical customer support
  • Working closely with the design team and an experienced team of technicians
  • Provide consultation on correct maintenance of products and fault finding


To be successful in this position you need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • City & Guilds 17th or 18th edition regulations
  • HNC / ONC electrical qualifications
  • Experience in Customer support
  • Able to read and understand Electrical Engineering drawings
  • Hands on Experience with machine build, wiring and testing 

This role is based in Malvern and is easily accessible from Worcester, Ledbury, Tewkesbury, Hereford, Evesham, Pershore, Cheltenham and Gloucester.
