We currently have an amazing opportunity for a CNC Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of pressed component parts.

As CNC Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain production by carrying out both pro-active and re-active maintenance tasks on a variety of foundry & machine shop plant and equipment.
  • Recognise that production is critical to the company success in the market place.
  • Support production by demonstrating a flexible approach to overtime etc, to resolve high priority issues when required.
  • Purchase, stock and control machine spare parts.
  • Arrange for worn and damaged machine parts to be refurbished.

To be successful in the role of CNC Maintenance Engineer, you will have the following:

  • Minimum of 5 years working with metal and setting / operating CNC milling machines.
  • Experience of working with Brother and Fanuc machines.
  • Automotive experience.
  • Knowledge of CNC machine control systems including machine diagnostics.
  • Strong electrical bias with an understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical skills.
  • Able to install, modify, upgrade and repair factory infrastructure items to include compressed air lines & fittings, electric sockets, lights, network cabling, sockets etc.
  • 17th Edition Electrical qualification would be an advantage.
  • Experience of working on any of the following CNC machines would be useful - Bridgeport, Fanuc, Hitachi, Okuma, Matsuura, Brother etc.

The position of CNC Maintenance Engineer is a permanent role and based in Buckinghamshire and easily commutable from Bedford, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Buckingham, Newport Pagnell, Aylesbury etc..
